Fix Invalid Availability Values in a Product Feed

Use supported values and make inventory data consistent with your store.

How to diagnose and repair the issue

  1. Find nonstandard values such as available or yes
  2. Map only verified states to in_stock or out_of_stock
  3. Use preorder or backorder only when they match your sales flow
  4. Check availability_date when relevant
  5. Ensure the feed matches the landing page

Do not automatically turn unknown inventory into in_stock.

Check the fix

Keep an untouched copy of your source feed. Run the relevant check again, inspect flagged rows and compare a small sample with your store catalog. Merchant Center may apply additional requirements by country, product category and destination.
