How to Fix a Missing Price in a Merchant Feed

A missing price can stop product data from being usable. Check the column, format and live page.

How to diagnose and repair the issue

  1. Find rows with an empty price field
  2. Check the expected price attribute or column map
  3. Use a decimal number followed by ISO currency code such as 19.99 USD
  4. Compare the submitted price with the landing page and checkout
  5. Export a corrected copy and validate again

Do not invent a product price. Ask the catalog owner for the actual price.

Check the fix

Keep an untouched copy of your source feed. Run the relevant check again, inspect flagged rows and compare a small sample with your store catalog. Merchant Center may apply additional requirements by country, product category and destination.
